Ok, this is one of my favorite new spots to take families. I think it is best suited for an evening session due to the way the light falls there and where the shade is. Look at that dreamy golden light streaming through the trees! I believe I first starting taking clients there last fall (2018), and so many loved it! I definitely plan to advocate for it to be in rotation for family photos again this year.
Speaking of which, we are already in the MIDDLE of family photo session season around here at Elizabeth Clements Photography. Say what? It may only be early October, but I have had several busy weeks already working with families. I have had so many families say to me, “I’m so thankful we are doing this EARLY this year so we aren’t rushed.” For the past several years, I have stopped shooting family sessions after Thanksgiving week because it becomes too much of a crunch time for me with editing and clients with trying to order/address/mail cards. This year, I anticipate stopping a little earlier in November due to some family commitments. Schedules only get crazier the closer we get to the holidays, so considering marking family photos off your list now.
