Juliette and her family came to see me in my Nashville studio yesterday afternoon. It’s safe to say that this icy weather has made for an interesting week! We were originally scheduled to shoot on Monday, but that was the first day of the storm, and none of us had any business driving. Luckily, the sun was out most of the day yesterday melting a bit and the main roads were in decent shape from a couple days of treatment and scraping, so we were able to squeeze in her newborn session. Considering it looks like round #2 of the storm may be coming on Friday, I think we definitely feel lucky that it worked out as well as it did!
This sweet baby girl joins a big sister, who also got a few photos of her own. Make sure you look for the yellow bonnet in one of the photos as you scroll down. Juliette’s great grandmother made this hat (along with some matching booties) for her dad when he was a baby. You all know that I’m a sucker for special touches in sessions, especially when they include handmade items by family members (quilts, knitted or crocheted items, etc).
