Friends, you are in for a treat! I am so proud of these images from Haley’s newborn session on Sunday. This was actually my first studio newborn shoot, and I have to say I felt a bit spoiled by having consistent, good light and lots of space to move around (which is not always the case when trying to set up all of my newborn gear in a home). I’m sold! It was great, and I will definitely encourage my 2015 babies to go the studio route. Little Miss Haley must have been excited about being in the studio, too, because she had no interest in sleeping for the first 3/4’s of our shoot. Yep. She was 14 days old, which may have accounted for some of that. Once she was asleep, we put her in a bunch of different set-ups, as you’ll see below. Ideally, I’d like to shoot newborns between 5-10 days old, but we had some extenuating circumstances that required this session being a little later. It totally worked out (we just had to have a little extra patience), and I know this mama is going to be awfully happy with these!
