There are a couple of my shooting spots (including this new one!) that haven’t been featured yet on the blog, so I decided today was the perfect time to share one. To help my clients decide on an outdoor location, if they choose that over the studio, I send over links of example sessions so they can get a feel for some of the different options. I don’t always use spaces the exact same way, of course, but it helps show what is there– trees, buildings, fences, etc. Some clients know that they want a particular “look” based on what they are wearing or where they plan to display their images, so I have found this process to help with the decision making. This spot is in Franklin and is eligible for both half and full sessions.

I’m so excited to debut my updated website design, so I thought I’d blog a recent studio session in honor of this occasion! This precious girl just wrapped up her Baby’s First Year plan with this session. Her mom wanted to switch things up, so we did sessions for her pregnancy announcement, maternity, newborn, and then 6/7 months. One of the great things about these baby plans is that I can customize them based on the sessions and milestones you are most interested in capturing! Communion session | Nashville child photographer

This session was such a treat for me because it was a little out of the ordinary and this beautiful girl was such a natural at posing. Also, her eyelashes? Amazing! She will be celebrating her first communion soon, and her mother wanted to document this important milestone with a special session. We took a variety of images with her rosary and traditional praying hands then some without. The custom dress and floral crown perfectly set the stage. I’m sharing more that normal below because this session was a dream.

Mommy and Me Minis | Nashville child photographer

I’m hosting Mommy and Me mini sessions at my Nashville studio on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 9-11:30am. This event is for moms and kids of all ages! The vision for these is to focus on the beautiful relationship between a mother and her children. Images will be emotional and tender, clearly depicting LOVE. Mothers often shy away from being in front of the camera, but I want to change that! Children need to see portraits of themselves with their mother. Your little ones change so quickly, so it is important to catch them at these stages with YOU. This will be a very calm, relaxed session. Here are the specifics:

15 minute sessions at the studio
2 or 4+ image packages that both include a professionally printed 5×7 of your favorite image.
- 2 images + 5×7 print = $100+tax
- 4 images + 5×7 print = $135+tax
All images are of mom and kids; no individual images. You can even bring a grandmother! How sweet would it be to have 3 generations documented in a beautiful portrait?
