McClaran family | Brentwood family photographer

It’s hard to beat taking pictures of a happy little girl!  I was having entirely too much fun editing pictures because they were making me smile, so the McClaran family is going to get a slightly larger preview than normal.  You just HAD to see how much fun the three of them were having together, those few little front teeth, and how she was attempting to walk while safely gripping her parents’ hands.  So precious.  🙂

Hooper family

It’s days like today that makes it hard to believe that it is mid-November.  For those of you outside the middle TN area, it was in the mid-60’s and sunny!  A-ma-zing.  I considered myself quite lucky to get to enjoy such fabulous weather, and I know the families I met with today would also agree.  I started my morning with the Hoopers, who were so much fun!  The kids and I had a good time being silly, which made me think about how much fun I used to have while teaching (4th grade).  In addition to being silly, these two love their mom and Pappaw.  So, so sweet.

Newborn Harper

I met this cuddly 12-day-old baby girl on Monday morning.  Oh goodness, it is such fun to hold and talk sweet nonsense to precious newborns.  It’s kind of like therapy for me to get to rock a baby to sleep.  Harper, her mother, and grandmother were all delightful, and I’m really pleased with the images we got from our session.  Check out the owl hat from Harper’s Aunt Jennifer!  Love it!

Hazard family

The Hazard family and I met on a windy, overcast afternoon this past weekend.  They’ve only been a family of 5 for a few months, so they were looking to get some photos to represent their growing family.  These parents have it figured out (but maybe you have to with three under three?)– they are so easy-going and happy!  I love that about them.  Without further ado, here is their preview:

Colin and Tyler

I met these handsome two boys and their mom over the weekend, and I have one thing to say: they made it so easy.  I told them as we wrapped up that this was easily my easiest photo shoot ever.  These two boys rocked it and had the best behavior!  (I did include one silly photo in here because we did have a lot of fun!)  Collin will be modeling in a few years, mark my words, because he was pulling out all kinds of pose ideas.  No joke.  He may be 6, but I jokingly told his mom that I’d consider hiring him as an assistant because of his fabulous ideas and energy.  It was such a pleasure to meet this family, and I definitely hope to see them again sometime!
