I love fall… the crisp air and beautiful leaves are hard to beat.  My second session in Franklin yesterday was with this sweet family.  When I say sweet, I mean it.  Our session was flawlessly smooth– everyone was happy and ready to go!  In an effort to not give away what might be a Christmas card photo, I’m trying to restrain myself from showing any whole-family photos.  Man, that is hard to do because I want you all to see them!  Alas, I’ll just show some different groupings that don’t give away all five of them together. 🙂

If you’re a fan of my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/elizabethclementsphotography), you already saw these first two images last night as sneak peeks.  If you’re not a fan yet, head over to my page and “like” it so you’ll be the first to see previews and news!

This was a fun shoot! I actually have a favorite sidewalk in Franklin, and that is where we met.  I know that sounds silly, but I just love love love the way that spot photographs.   This is also the magic week that leaves started to change color, and a few also dropped, as you can see.  The setting could not have been more perfect, nor could the weather.  After hanging out there a bit, we walked down a block for another backdrop. The twin big brothers are silly and lots of fun, and baby Graham is just about the sweetest thing you will ever meet.  I’ve known this baby since he was born, and I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard anything other than a coo out of his mouth!  In fact, you may remember this family from his newborn session several months ago.

Allison’s bridesmaid brunch | Franklin, TN photographer

This morning, I went to celebrate with Allison and the ladies closest to her.  Her childhood best friend, Elizabeth, hosted a lovely brunch to start the big day off.  I know all of these ladies are now busy with hair appointments and such in preparation for this evening’s wedding!  There’s no way to sum up an event in just a few photos, so I have included A LOT.  With one look, you’ll realize that Elizabeth and her mother, Cynthia, know how to throw a party.  No detail was missed.  It was a picture-perfect event.

The brunch featured spinach and sausage quiche, cheese grits, mini BLT sandwiches, and fruit salad.  Yum.

That’s not exactly flower girl fare, so she had her own plate with fancy PB&J and fruit salad. 🙂

Meadows family | Franklin, TN family photographer

Two years ago, I photographed Michelle pregnant.  My how time flies!  I bet she agrees– and I’m sure it seems even faster when chasing after twins!  Hudson and Ian were both fans of the Park at Harlinsdale Farm because of the dog park and getting to look in the old horse stables.  I don’t blame them!  We had absolutely gorgeous weather tonight for our shoot.  When fall temperatures start to settle in for good, it will be a rude awakening.  Enough about the weather– go check out these two cutie pies and their parents! 🙂

Wood family: Nashville, TN family photographer

I met these two silly girls, their mom, and Grammie at Ellington Ag Center in Nashville on a gorgeous October afternoon!  Hard to believe that it is the middle of the month and still 80 degrees.  We will be in for a shock in a couple weeks when the temperature drops to what is normal for this time of year.  Brrr.

Big sister Lena and I were fast friends.  What can I say?  I like 3 year olds!  I actually have one at my house for 2 more weeks until his birthday.  Did I just say that type that?  Oh my goodness!  I can’t believe it.  Lena and I quickly bonded over her love of Goldfish and my frog toy that attaches to my camera.  I got a hug when it was time to leave, so that is a definite seal of approval.  Mom-approved and kid-approved?  That is pretty good in my book. 🙂
