Little Greer was born three months ago to one of my favorite families.  Everyone is quite taken with him, and I totally understand why!  He is a happy, very sweet baby.  I first started photographing this family a couple years ago when now-middle brother, Grant, was 9 months old.  I’ve worked with them several times since, including back in August when we got some pre-baby photos for the whole family, as seen here.  I love when I get to see my families grow and change.

Since we had our session near Christmas, we made use of the beautifully decorated mantle for a whole family photo.  Of course, we had to get little Greer in a Santa hat, too.  I promise, this is the cutest thing you will see today.

Per Alicia’s request, I brought along my seamless backdrop to get some classic images like this.  She has photos from her older two boys as babies with similar set-ups and wanted to have some that matched for Greer.

I mean, seriously.  Mama + baby.  Love it.

Greer closed his eyes for a mini nap, which gave me a chance to get shots like this.  Look at those lashes!

He was soon back awake, and we moved upstairs to his room.  Hi there, little fella!  I adore this expression.

Prepare yourself for some serious cuteness.  This family had a 5 year old big brother and 1 year old little sister, which is a really fabulous age difference.  He was so sweet with her and such a good listener; I’m sure he’s a big help at home!  He reminded me of my 4 year old, Matthew, who just dotes on our 1 year old, Andrew, and loves to help out.  I had to share this first photo in both color and b&w because I couldn’t decide which I liked more.  What do you think?

I was originally supposed to meet this family on Saturday, but we ended up moving things due to the weather forecast.  Boy, I sure am glad that we chose today for our reschedule because it was sunny and in the upper 50’s!  In December, that is quite a treat.

If you’ve been an ECP fan for a while, this family probably looks familiar!  They came to me when they first were expecting baby Madeline, I went to their home when she was a newborn, and then we met up again yesterday morning for a chilly session.  As you near the end of November, you have to look a bit harder to find pretty fall trees to incorporate.  We were very lucky that these have held on to their leaves for so long!
