As we’re getting into my busy season, I’m going to be keeping my intros to previews pretty short and sweet. This family was an absolutely delightful way to start my day yesterday. They all came in good moods and ready to go– even 2 month old Max was calm the whole 30 minutes! It felt like a true fall session with the morning’s crisp air. We ended up with some really fabulous images– I’m thrilled, and I know they will be, too!

Yesterday, I had back-to-back sessions with families of three, both of whom have a one year old. One of the really interesting things about that age is that you never know if the child will be crawling, pulling up, standing, walking, or even running! Different skills mean I will try some different poses. It definitely keeps me on my toes. 🙂 Every child is different and on their own schedule, which is a good thing. My Matthew waited until almost 17 months to walk, and my Andrew walked at 14 months. Emma, my little friend at this session, was a confident walker.  She thought getting to walk (and swing) while holding her parents’ hands was the BEST!  See the joy on her face below.

I met this sweet family of three yesterday in Franklin. Luke was very interested in the leaves, which have just started to fall at this particular location. It definitely makes the season change a little more evident. I actually saw a tree a couple days ago near my neighborhood turning red already! I always get asked by clients about tree colors. Mid October to early or mid November is usually pretty safe in terms of getting some changing leaves in photos. Speaking of– I am completely booked up in October and have just a spot or two left at the end of November. If you’d like information about those, get out the “Get in touch” tab above.

I met up with one of my favorite families yesterday in Franklin, and we had a good time being silly! Since they have been with me since I started my business, I have an extra large preview to share as a thank you. 🙂  It has been a lot of fun seeing them grow over the years, and I’m particularly smitten with sweet baby Greer in these! Since he is a brand new 1 year old, he got an extra share of photos.
