I’m keeping my comments short and sweet today because I’ve got a big list of previews and sessions to knock out. I always love seeing this crew, though. They came to see me in Franklin on Sunday, and we had some seriously BEAUTIFUL light streaming through the trees at our location.

I’m keeping my comments short and sweet today because I’ve got a big list of previews and sessions to knock out. Lots of smiles coming!

I’ve known this little girl since before she was born. Her mama and I actually met 5.5 years ago in prenatal water aerobics! This was my first time to have her in front of my camera, and we had a great time together! Her grandfather came along on the shoot, and I love that we were able to include him in some photos.

This crew has been with me for a couple years, and it was so fun to have them for their annual session so I could see how much the kids have grown!

You know what is really awesome– I can tell that you guys are taking to heart when I recommend that you talk to you kids about me before a session. I’ve had kids at several shoots recently who already knew my name and what we were going to be doing. That is HUGE, so thank you! The Harris children were in great moods when they arrived and knew exactly what to expect. Our session went so smoothly (and was a lot of fun)!

Parker | Nashville & Brentwood newborn photographer

I got to go meet and photograph newborn Parker yesterday afternoon, and he was a great little model for me.  We had really gorgeous weather, so I took his family outside for a few shots (a couple of which you’ll see below). I don’t get to do that very often with newborns, so it was fun to do something different!

A funny thing happened– Bishop lost his very first tooth at the end of our shoot!  In the photo of him on the fence with his sister, you’ll see the hole in the bottom of his mouth.  That was definitely a first for me!  He had been wiggling the tooth earlier, so he must have made a lot of progress in that 30 minutes.  He was so proud!  Luckily, his mama was prepared with a little plastic cup to put it in.

We had pleasant weather and an amazing sunset.  These sun-drenched images are so dreamy!  Without further ado, I want to share the Vines family’s preview with you.  This first image happened with a little bit of luck as we were wrapping up, and boy oh boy, am I glad I saw her and captured it!
