Williams family | Franklin family photographer

I met this adorable mom + daughter duo in Franklin over the weekend.  They were such good sports and really seemed to enjoy the process.  They also went and got their hair and makeup done beforehand (such a treat and a good way to set a positive tone leading up to the session!)  I thought Abby’s braids were a really cute touch and added personality.

Anderson family | Brentwood family photographer

My family loves this family.  They are some of our very favorite people.  I wish I could show you all of them together, but I have to save those photos this time of year so I don’t kill the Christmas card images. 🙂  Instead, I’ll share a bunch of images of their two adorable kids to tide you over.

Their mama has been anxiously awaiting their preview, so without further ado…

Wade family | Franklin child photographer

This family may look familiar to you.  After all, they won my 2014 Client Favorites contest!  I loved seeing them last week for a fall session in Franklin and getting to meet their new baby girl.  As always, I don’t share whole family images this time of year in case they’re being used for cards or gifts. 🙂

The Rohans | Franklin family photographer

This family came to see me for the second year in a row.  They are a really happy, easy-going bunch!  Well, little brother is a little opinionated, but that comes with the territory when you’re one.  Ha.  We had a great time in Franklin at Harlinsdale Farm/Park.  This time of year, you do have to dodge other photographers when shooting over there since it’s so popular, but it’s totally worth the effort with those awesome backdrops.  This first image below was actually the very first shot I took at their session.  BOOM.  Sam killed it with a great natural smile.  Everyone else did a pretty good job, too, as you’ll see!

Parker: 1 year | Nashville baby photographer

Parker came in for the final session of his baby plan over the weekend.  It is hard to believe how quickly that last year went!  I’m sharing his preview here, will wrap up his final images in the next week, and then his family and I get to pick out some beautiful wall art to document his growth.  All of my baby plan clients choose from 3-5 sessions over the course of a year, and they are then gifted with either a framed collection or a canvas collection of their choice at the end.  Here’s a little more information about those plans here: ECP baby plan.  This won’t be the last you see of Parker, though, as he is coming to see Santa at the studio!

Back to his 1 year session– kids are really funny when it comes to smash cakes.  Some love them, some hate them, and some are just ambivalent.  Parker was in this last category.  He had no interest in touching or tasting the cake.  The little bit that you see on him was mostly unintentional.  Even though he didn’t want to jump in, we still got some really cute images of him with his cake.  His birthday party theme was Mickey, so Parker’s mom made these ADORABLE Mickey-themed letters spelling ONE.  Don’t I have the cutest crafty moms?  She also made the fabric banner backdrop.
