This time of year, my editing gets crazy as I try to keep up with getting images to families by the time I’ve promised.  Because of this, full previews often get put to the back burner because I think it’s more important to be able to deliver images on time.  I assume you will all agree with me on that!  Even if I don’t get a full preview up a couple days after a session, I usually do still post a sneak peek or two on Facebook, so if you don’t follow me there yet, go like my page!  www.facebook.com/elizabethclementsphotography

This family gets to see their preview the same day I’m mailing their disc, which means they don’t have to wait long until they can see the rest!  Yeah!

William is 1! | Nashville baby photographer

This precious guy came to the studio a few days ago to celebrate being a new one year old.  I was in the hospital room just a few minutes after he was born last year, which was a treat.  Here’s that session, though I warn you that it may give you baby fever to look at that squishy little newborn!  William is such a happy little guy, and his family is beyond thankful for him because he is their rainbow baby after a tragic loss.  If you’ve been around ECP a while, you’ve seen me post about Margaret.  She is an ever-present part of that family, so it is important that we talk about her and remember her with them.

Back to William’s session, however, I have to tell you about the cake.  This boy loved it.  I mean he didn’t waste a minute before he dove in face-first.  It was amazing.  We were laughing so hard!  As you’ll see in the last photo, he ate a fair amount of it, too.

I get to share one of my favorite families with you today.  Lucky us!  These boys are entirely too much fun.  Their mama loves to update her frames, so I always make sure to get a vertical and a horizontal individual shot of each boy for that purpose.  I love how their eyes are twinkling in this series!  We had beautiful morning light, too, which always makes for a great setting.  Getting to explore on the park bridge a bit, of course, was an added bonus.

I met up with this family of four for the second year in a row in Franklin for some updated family photos.  They picked a really beautiful location– don’t the colors just sing with what they are wearing?  That lone red tree in the background was so dreamy.  Mama specifically requested a close up of younger brother because she loves his freckles.  I don’t blame her one bit.  Freckles are pretty adorable!

Love seeing this family and how much their kiddos have changed since I saw them in the spring.  I’m really loving all of the texture in these first few photos of the kids on these steps.  The worn wood, leaves, moss, etc… they add so much interest and dimension to the photos.  Isn’t it sweet how big brother snuggles on little sister, too (see below)?
